And if you search in the community, you already find several mentions. So if you want recommendations, you may want to ask the Spiceworks community instead.


For those Spiceheads with more requirements than available by this public cloud edition, I don't expect any recommendation by the Spiceworks team. I don't expect another recommendation by the Spiceworks team than to migrate to the public cloud edition. The situation had not changed that no decision was yet made if the inventory component of the public cloud edition will be ported to the VM/Ubuntu solution. But that presentation has expressed stronger hopes for the help desk component than for the inventory component. service providers become active later this year. As far as I understood the presentation on Spiceworld virtual 2020, they hope to advance on their Cloud edition to become able to provide a migration path to the cloud edition before further service degradation of suppliers resp. Spiceworks 7 is available to all software users as a free download for Windows.I've been using Spiceworks on-premises for Inventory since Spiceworks 4.7.ĭo I interpret this sentence right, that you used the on-premises editions 4.7 unto 7?
